We’ve been working hard behind the scenes to get this book to life. As the editor and publisher of the series, I’m going to lay it straight; What I was expecting was another 16 hour shift through a revision and lots of caffeine to keep me moving. What I encountered was a harrowing tale of the power of family, women and men when brought together and a tale of perseverance. A code of honour and a way of life that touches your soul. A longing for just another chapter and a soft spot for the character development. I was captivated so much so I decided to say screw it and do an extra revision because I found myself reading for pleasure rather than work. That is something special for me! One book won’t be enough to satisfy you like me! A series you won’t want to miss💕

When I read a book it must capture me in the first couple of pages. I can tell right away if it’s going to be tossed aside and never read or if it’s a book that will steal my every free moment! Sid’s book is definitely a book that I feel is going to be a best seller📖!

After reading the first generation it is definitely a book that is going to have me reading into the wee hours of the morning until my eyes will not allow me to keep them open anymore! Blood and Dirt evoked so many emotions that had me smiling at moments, feeling very angry at events that happened and also feeling sad at times too but mostly I loved seeing the incredible power and strength of these amazing strong women👏

The way that Sid writes is so poetic and incredibly descriptive to the point where I felt like I was in the scene, walking the property, smelling the trees, cooking the same meals!! So brilliant how this first generation got me hooked in! I now sit with excitement and anticipating waiting to be able to read the whole book when it’s ready!

On my trip home I was still thinking about the book, thinking of the characters and wondering what is going to happen to them going forward!!
